The machine is of very robust construction and is suitable for sharpening 10 to 12 surgical blades per minute. Individual blades are removed from the magazine and the arm is fitted with a pick-up device that transfers the blades to a carousel. The carriage then retracts and starts grinding on the curve side first. When the slide returns to its original position, the blade is again picked up by a second arm and transferred to a second slide (carousel) in an inverted motion. At the same time, a new blade is fed into the second carriage and both blades are ground together. A third robotic arm then picks up the blade from the second carousel and transfers it to the unloading magazine. All these processes are completed at the same time. Our automatic surgical blade sharpening machine adopts automatic lubrication system to provide accurate lubricant for each lubrication point in the way of fixed time, fixed quantity and fixed pressure. The guide rails all adopt high rigidity roller type guide rails, with good bearing capacity, high transmission precision and good accuracy retention. Screws are adopted high-precision double-nut pre-pressure precision ball screws, with both ends of the support seat lock pull design, can eliminate transmission precision backlash and pre-compensate for temperature rise caused by the error, to ensure positioning accuracy. Imported servo motors are used to drive the screws directly through the coupling, which has low vibration and high precision, and the two-axis servo motors are equipped with built-in encoders to indirectly measure the displacement, forming a semi-closed-loop system to ensure the positioning accuracy.
